NOTE: HIIT Training is a tool that should only be used by individuals with a good basic level of fitness.
High Intensity Interval Training or HIIT Trainingfor short is widely regarded as the fastest way to achieve fat burning and increase your cardiovascular ability.
HIIT Training is highly customizable to the type of exercise you want to do, here’s how it works: Select your preferred type of exercise (it can be anything! Running, push-ups, burpees, whatever you want!) , then (based on your level of fitness) set your intervals and rest times.
For instance, you could choose to do sprinting. To apply it to HIIT training you could do 30 seconds of sprinting with a 20 second rest immediately following the period of exercise which then immediately leads into the next period of exercise. Repeat this pattern for as many rounds as you need to!
As your level of fitness increases, you can increase the exercise duration and decrease the rest period.
